Chris and wife Rosie chat to parenting and sleep experts about their experiences, and receive some invaluable hints and tips from them. Save your sleep from the dreaded poonami with Pampers 💩

Young babies waking during the night for a feed or a cuddle is par for the course, but your baby needn’t wake up because their nappy has leaked. Pampers are on a mission to get you as much sleep as possible and that’s why not only do Pampers Baby-Dry instantly absorb wetness for up to 12 hours, they also feature a revolutionary Stop & Protect pocket to prevent leaks at the back.

Ready to have your say? 💭

Fab! Share your thoughts, questions (or even hilarious poonami stories) in the comments below and we’ll be in touch via email if you’re one of the lucky winners.

Lucky winners will be announced on 12th February! Full competition terms and conditions can be found here.

For me and my little girl I learned that it all comes with time and they do things on their own eventually, so enjoy the cuddles and the rocking.
We used to rock our girl to sleep every nap and bedtime, most naps used to be contact naps, and she would wake frequently through the night. Eventually, on her own, she became a really independent sleeper and now likes to go into her cot awake and takes herself off to sleep, and she sleeps mostly through the night (thanks to all night protection from Pampers of course). I miss the cuddles! ❤️

We have one. Hold who loves to sleep with rain sounds on and has a cup of milk in bed and another (younger) who has Lulabies with a warm bottle of milk and a small ambient night light, we keep it super chilled and relaxed in his room. He sleeps amazingly and the only nappies he doesn't leak through are pampers!

Bath, baby massage, milk, no need to change nappy all night! She sleeps though out 😍

Bearholme • 05/02/2024 - 15:09

Routine is key for sure.. feed, bath, massage, nappy (pampers!) pjs, sleeping bag and a book followed by cuddles, kisses and bedtime well wishes!

We tried all brands of nappy’s but pampers were the only ones that didn’t leak at night. Always used pampers since about 2 months old. Good value for money too!

Create a bed routine it is what worked for us

Letsy303 Verified 05/02/2024 - 15:10

I wish I had more top tips other than a full tummy, good nappy on correctly and a lot of HOPE!!
But one day we will get there. Wouldn’t be without pampers though for sure, day or night !

MIHAELAB • 05/02/2024 - 15:10

I am lucky enough to have a baby that sleeps pretty decent. We have our routine that so far worked miracles. A clean nappy is always a win and we are getting through loads of them. Happy baby happy mommy.

Pillow spray! Lavender. Been using it about 2 weeks now. Made such a difference. Much happier momma!!

My boy would wake up crying most nights and after a while, realised that it was due to his nappies! He would leak through them and his clothes would be soaking wet! After changing to pampers, we now have no leaks and he sleeps the whole night because they don't soak up everything and don't feel wet on his bottom! I know pampers are more pricey than other nappies but its well worth it. We are all sleeping like babies now.

I've had 3 children, used the same routine with all and it's worked a treat 🙂 this is what we do before bedtime.
Physical play - dancing moving about
Bite to eat
Followed by a warm bubby bath.
Warm bottle & story before bed
Warm pjs off the radiator, clean fresh pampers tapped nappy on.
All snuggled in my arms for contact sleep.
Wait until deep sleep and transfer them into own bed.
Full nights sleep.
And breathe 🙂😅😴

Since we started using pampers baby dry my daughter sleeps throughout the night. With all other brands she was leaking due to drinking a lot. We still haven't figured out how to combat the waking early in the morning. Strangely she will wake super early on weekends and try to sleep in on weekdays. Haha

Before bed we run a nice warm bubble bath. Pick out a book and cuddly toy to take to bed. We have a nice play in the bath, put on a pampers night time nappy, have a snuggle, dim the lights and read a book. I then give her some milk, and she falls fast asleep for about 3 hours before she pops back up again shouting up and out haha.

As a Mum of a 2 year and and 9 month old I’ve learned they do it at there own pace! My 2 year old is now in his own room sleeping through so I’m soaking up all the cuddles with my 9 month old whilst I can 🥰

Idrees • 05/02/2024 - 15:12

I've tried different beanded nappies and pull ups but my 4 year old always wets the bed, the nappies aren't that full but I find they become loose around the inner legs area when sag which makes room for pee to escape.

I've had to resort to bed mats and waterproof pyjamas to combat the constant changing if bedding.

I have tried going up and down a size but no joy.

My son (10 months) fights going to sleep, so I have found the following to work recently:

Tonie box, using a creative Tonie to play sleep style music (download the free content), light projection to have a solar system swirling around the ceiling and let him have his bottle in his cot. As an added bonus, blanket with tags and a comforter that he can rub against his face.

Also as he’s had a cold, some baby Vicks in his chest and back to help him breathe. Also been recommended a vapour machine for his room to prevent the air getting dry whilst he sleeps.

Emmaajx Verified 05/02/2024 - 15:13

A nice bath, blow dry (joys of long hair) and then finished with a lovely book after her milk. Popup books are perfect for 7 month olds :D
Now Aurora is in her own room, I try to make things relaxed. She's a good sleeper and the one thing I love is that she's not waking up uncomfortable with a soaking wet nappy on her skin. I swear by Pampers amazing protection!

StephPo Verified 05/02/2024 - 15:13

Whatever brand of nappies you use- Pampers Nappy Pants are a game changer. We use reusable nappies during the day but struggled to find a suitable disposable for bed. My daughter would wake up soaked through- she slept on her front all night! Pampers were recommended and worth every penny! My daughter sleeps through and is comfortable and dry overnight. Absolutely would recommend!

Smcg23 • 05/02/2024 - 15:14

A good routine, and making sure that sleep needs are met during the day so they’re not too tired/awake at bedtime. My daughter was leaking each night until we switched to pampers nappy pants and now she can sleep through with no leaks or changes needed 🥰

White noise! The godsend of all godsends!! I’ve had one who just didn’t sleep unless she was on me, and the other has slept through from 6w old! We didn’t do anything different - but both settled so well to white noise! Try to remain as calm as possible each bedtime, get the white noise on and enjoy the cuddles as before you know it they are into their own room! … then blink and they are 3yrs old 🥹
